Description: Peggy Joe is a woman with 1990's ideas, trapped in the 1950's middle America. She works at Dickie's, a soda shop/dines in a small all American town of Appleton. She is young and rebellious...a sort of female version of James Dean. The only thing Peggy Jo has any feelings for in Appleton is Steve Decker, a "Bad Boy" in a leather jacket who rides a motorcycle and works as a car mechanic. Steve is fixing his bike up so he can blow town. Peggy Jo is hoping he notices her and offers her a lift.
